She became a household name with her portrayal of the role of &#;Krishna Tulsi&#; in the TV serial &#;Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi&#; which was also her debut. Since then there has been no looking back for her. Her performances in &#;Devon Ke Dev&#;Mahadev&#; as &#;Sati&#; and in &#;Nagin 2 — Mohabbat Aur Inteqaam Ki Dastaan&#; as &#;Naagin&#; proved to be pathbreaking performances of her career.
