Mason serves at CBS as a culture reporter, where he appears during the week on &#;CBS This Morning.&#; He began working as a culture reporter on August 26, His previous role at CBS was as the weekend co-host of CBS This Morning and is a frequent contributor to CBS Sunday Morning, his work appears across a variety of CBS News programs and platforms.

His co-host role was replaced by former NFL player Nate Burleson. 

Mason is one of the most seasoned and flexible TV news correspondents. He met Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W.
