Biography of Moran Mazor

Moran Mazor is a young Israeli singer and representative of Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

She was born on May 17, 1991, in Holon, Israel. Moran's musical career began at a very young age, as she loved to sing and performed her songs in public without any hesitation. Her parents, Nana and Rafi Mazor, who had moved from Georgia to Israel in the 1960s, encouraged her passion for music.

Despite settling in Israel and speaking Hebrew, Moran's parents believed that it was important for their children to remember their roots, so Moran learned Georgian from an early age and was also familiar with Georgian traditions and customs.

At the age of 4, Moran started learning to play the piano, and at 12, she began singing in a city choir, where she gained her basic vocal skills.
