Sarah Jessica Parker was born on March 25, 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to journalist Stephen Parker and elementary school teacher Barbara Parker.
She has two older brothers, Pippin Parker and Timothy Britten Parker, and an older sister, Rachel Parker. After her parents divorced, her mother married truck driver Paul Forst and moved with all four children. Paul also had four children, so Sarah gained two more brothers and two more sisters during her formative years.
